Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran condemned the statement given out by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan over the CAG report on KIIFB. He said the CM is raising silly arguments which are not expected from people who know the constitution and administrative system of India.

“Pinarayi Vijayan who is a senior politician of the state is mocking the public while serving as the Chief Minister. Such foolish arguments are not expected from a CM,” said Surendran.

He also alleged that CM is upset over CAG report fearing that the huge scam behind KIIFB deal will be revealed.

"If the CM and finance minister had read the CAG report before tabling it in the assembly, then there is no other reason needed to dismiss the government. CM Pinarayi Vijayan is stating unconstitutional matters. He is opposing the CAG report as KIIFB has taken loan violating the rules," alleged Surendran.
