K Surendran slams CM for hiding details of Life Mission project
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran raised a sharp criticism against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan over the Life Mission housing project controversy. “Why did the CM refuse to give details of the Life Mission project if he has nothing to hide on it?,” asks Surendran.
He pointed out that the government was not ready to give a copy of the MoU to media and opposition.
Addressing a press meet here on Sunday the BJP leader demanded that the government should reveal whether they hold the details of the Life Mission Housing Project. Meanwhile, he declared that BJP will strengthen protests demanding KT Jaleel’s resignation.
“CM Pinarayi Vijayan is playing a very dirty communal politics in the gold smuggling case. He said yesterday that Holy Quran and sentiments of minority (Muslims) are the main issues in Kerala. He is trying to cover up the smuggling case with Holy Quran,” condemned Surendran.
The BJP leader also alleged corruption in KIIFB.
“Huge amount is spent on advertisements to conceal the corruption in KIIFB. The government is conducting inaugurations to cover up such scams from the public,” he added.
He also revealed that the BJP has decided to quit the inaugurations of the LDF government.
