Kozhikode: BJP state president K Surendran asked whether Panakkad Thangal will bear the expense when PK Kunhalikutty contests in the Assembly election.

The BJP leader also stated that the action taken by Kunhalikutty and Muslim League was irresponsible and that the IUML was trying to take over the control of UDF in the state.

By deciding to resign from the MP post, Kunhalikutty is making fun of the voters. Contesting in the election is not something that falls under their internal affairs alone. If that is the case, Panakkad Thangal or Kunhalikutty should bear the election expense.

Surendran also said that Congress has weakened in Kerala. UDF’s nexus with the Welfare Party is evidence for this, he said.
