Kannur: KPCC President K Sudhakaran on Saturday announced that Congress will have a major revamp soon. He said that a total of 2500 cadres will be selected in each district and they will be trained and assigned to booths.

'2500 cadres will be selected to serve the party for a period of three years. 1000 members will be selected from Youth Congress, and 1500 from INTUC. Booths will be allotted to them and they will be trained on how to set up a party unit. Further, a monitoring body of leaders will be also formed to observe them,’ K Sudharakaran said at a party programme held in Kannur.

A disciplinary committee named Control Commission will be established to deal with various issues in all districts. A five-member committee will be also formed to examine the activities in each district.
