K Muraleedharan
Kozhikode: District Collector S. Sambasiva Rao has directed K. Muraleedharan MP to undergo a COVID-19 test after he participated in the wedding ceremony of a doctor who was diagnosed with the virus.
The doctor at Kozhikode Beach Hospital, who got married the other day, was confirmed with COVID-19. The wedding ceremony was held at the doctor's residence in Kannur. K. Muraleedharan also attended the function. Following this, the Kozhikode district Collector directed the MP and his driver to undergo COVID test.
K. Muraleedharan is currently under quarantine as directed by the district administration.
The COVID positive doctor was on leave from July 4 in connection with the wedding. It is learnt that the doctor was infected during the wedding ceremony.
