Thiruvananthapuram: MLA K M Shaji lashed out at the government during the discussion on the no-confidence motion moved in the assembly. K M Shaji named the chief minister and other ministers while raising allegations. He also ridiculed the chief minister saying he is a senior mandrake.

Shaji criticised the government for reinstating the IAS officer whose drunken driving led to the death of journalist K M Basheer. He also mentioned the Palathayi case in which a minor girl was denied justice as part of the Sangh Parivar agenda and the issue of Alan and Thaha who were imprisoned under UAPA act for alleged Maoist links.

Shaji also highlighted the allegations regarding the PSC appointments and the difficulties faced by the expats repatriated from abroad during the COVID crisis. He stated that the grieving families of murdered youth like Kripesh, Sarathlal and Shukkoor have lost trust on this government.

The chief minister fears questions from the media and never stops cyber bullies in his party from attacking others. He should teach some decency and manners to his cyber goons in his party. He is an expert of quarantining leaders like V S Achuthanandan and party secretary, Shaji alleged.

He further criticised ministers including A C Moideen, K T Jaleel, K K Shailaja and E Chandrasekharan. He said that A C Moideen is too busy that he started relief works on the day before the Karipur flight crash while K T Jaleel is busy with spiritual smuggling and sending quran.

K K Shailaja and Chandrasekharan are practicing Pranayama by sitting on both sides of the CM during press meets every day. Shaji also criticised G Sudhakaran that he never realises corruption as he experienced it for 4 years continuously. The party classes used to teach Capitalism and Communism earlier and now are teaching the science of robbery, he alleged.
