Kozhikode: BJP state president K Surendran stated that Jose K Mani's entry to LDF is returning the favour for sabotaging the bar bribery case. This is the greatest example for CPM's ideological depletion. Jose K Mani has been blackmailed using the bribery cases. All corrupt people have joined in a camp with this, he told the media here.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the LDF have totally forgotten the bribery allegations against K M Mani and the protests against him. CPM has taken up all the corrupt activities of the Kerala Congress (M). The declared policies of CPM have been proved wrong, he added.

Pinarayi Vijayan once said that Mani owned a currency-counting machine when bar bribery case surfaced. Now Pinarayi is in need of such a machine for Life Mission scam and gold smuggling case. Is that the reason why he accepted a party that owns a currency-counting machine, Surendran asked.

People are waiting to see if CPM would welcome Muslim League by sabotaging the Palarivattom flyover case. Bar bribery case should be probed in detail. If the state government is not investigating into it, the central agencies should conduct a probe. There is no issue in welcoming any party to a political front. But they should not sabotage corruption cases, Surendran said.

As Congress weakens in the southern area, NDA will become stronger. A neck and neck fight between LDF and NDA will take place in future. Pinarayi Vijayan is stealing the credit of many projects which were funded by the central government. He presents the projects like NH development as his own initiatives, Surendran alleged.
