Jose K Mani sabotaged Kottayam LS seat; PJ Joseph hints party split
Kottayam: Kerala Congress leader P. J. Joseph lashed out at Jose K. Mani. He stated that when he was supposed to contest from Kottayam Lok Sabha constituency, it was sabotaged by Jose K. Mani.
“Nobody else was being considered for the seat during the candidate selection. As the Rajya Sabha seat was already given to Jose K. Mani, I expressed my interest to contest Lok Sabha polls from Kottayam seat. UDF also accepted this formula. K. M. Mani blessed me during the meeting. Later, it was sabotaged,” P. J. joseph revealed in an interview to Mathrubhumi News.
“K. M. Mani later expressed grief over this incident. I withdrew from holding parallel conventions in Pala considering the request of UDF leaders. The discussions under the Bishop also failed,” he said.
Jose K. Mani tried all tricks to get the two leaves election symbol. He is an immature leader who cannot take decisions on his own. He is trying to conquer power through shortcut. The issue intensified since the Kerala Yatra led by Jose K. Mani.
The announcement of a new organisational system after December indicates that Kerala Congress is almost split. After rain recedes, district presidents will be selected in all districts and separate organisational structure will come into being.
