Jayarajan admitted to Ernakulam General Hospital
Kochi: CPM leader P Jayarajan, accused in the Kathirur Manoj murder case, was admitted to the Ernakulam General Hospital as he was being shifted to Sree Chitra Institute, Thiruvananthapuram, from Thrissur.
Jayarajan was admitted to Amala Hospital, Thrissur, last night after the ambulance carrying him got involved in a road accident. The CPM blamed the Kannur Jail Superintendent for the accident.
Jayarajan was taken to Thiruvananthapuram by another ambulance on Wednesday morning. He was admitted to the Ernakulam hospital as he complained of uneasiness during the travel. According to doctors, the CPM leader's health condition is not satisfactory as he has undergone frequent angiogram tests.
Jayarajan, who was first admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College, was decided to be shifted to Sree Chitra as he required better treatment. CPM leaders' vehicles are following the ambulance and the police vehicles accompanying it.
