Jacob Thomas hints he may not return as Vigilance chief
Thiruvananthapuram: Former Vigilance Director Jacob Thomas has hinted that he may not return as Vigilance Chief.
When mediapersons asked him whether there are chances of a comeback, Jacob Thomas responded " Amn’t I very far from Thiruvananthapuram? Shouldn't we go forward? Is it good to turn back?.
Jacob Thomas said that those who say that Vigilance Raj is prevailing in the state, should look at the corruption happening at the top level.
"Presently, favouritism and budget leakage are not regarded as corruption. "All of us should try to lessen corruption. We should ensure that no one is indulging in corruption in our vicinity," Jacob Thomas said.
