Jacob Thomas demands probe against Tom Jose over allegations of sand removal from Pampa
Thiruvananthapuram: Retired IPS officer Jacob Thomas demanded a probe against former chief secretary Tom Jose over allegations of sand removal from Pampa. Talking to Mathrubhumi News, Jacob Thomas stated that sand is always a medium of corruption.
“It was alleged that the forest department did not give permission to remove sand from Pampa river but the action to remove the sand was taken as directed by Tom Jose. The public should know the truth behind the former chief secretary. All allegations should be proved to bring out the truth. People in Kerala, including me, are eagerly waiting to know about it”, said Jacob Thomas.
Jacob Thomas was responding to the allegations against Tom Jose. Though the tender to remove the sand was given to Kerala Clays and Ceramic Products Limited, a private company is engaged in the work.
