Kottayam: CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran here on Monday refused to comment on the controversy related to LDF convener EP Jayarajan. He stated that CPM will resolve its issues.
“CPM has the maturity to resolve issues within the party. I don’t need to react to the media reports on any controversy related to CPM. If there is an issue within CPM, let them discuss and settle it,” he pointed out.
Meanwhile, CPI leader and Rajya Sabha MP P Santhosh slammed CPM over delaying action to resolve the issue. He pointed out that rectifying mistakes within the party is not a seasonal procedure.
EP Jayarajan is facing allegations over amassment of disproportionate wealth and illegal construction of a resort.
