Kochi: As directed by the BJP national leadership, there will be moves to pacify the unsatisfied party workers in the state unit shortly.

On the basis of the complaints from veteran leaders, the national leadership had summoned BJP state president K Surendran to Delhi. BJP national president JP Nadda had instructed him to solve the issues in the state unit as early as possible.

The national leadership directed to resolve the issues without affecting the local body election and to move in harmony ahead of assembly election. If this is not accomplished, the national leadership will intervene in the matter, it is hinted.

With this, the unsatisfied party leaders are watching what step K Surendran would take next. Meanwhile, senior leader Velayudhan denied allegations of leaking the details of the discussion held with him. He stated that he did not disclose any details about the meeting.

The party workers have decided to continue with the protest as long as due actions are not taken. Just because one person is is considered for a high post, the protests will not end. They have decided to bring to the attention of the national leadership about the lapses in solving the issues.
