Isolated heavy rains expected in Kerala, Yellow Alert in seven districts

Thiruvananthapuram: India Meteorological Department has predicted isolated heavy rains in Kerala for the next four days, with a yellow alert announced in seven districts.

On Wednesday, rain is likely in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Ernakulam districts.

On Thursday, Ernakulam is expected to receive heavy rain (Yellow Alert), followed by Wayanad on the 28, Palakkad on the 29, and Idukki and Ernakulam districts on the 30.

Heavy rains are defined as 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours.
