Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that Kerala is likely to have isolated heavy rainfall for the next five days.

IMD has also alerted that until June 20, heavy winds ranging from 40km/hr to 50 km/hr and unfavourable weather can be expected on the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Fishermen are warned not to venture into the sea.

Citing National Centre for Environmental Prediction (NCEP)’s Global Forecast System (GFS), Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) on its social media post has said that southern and central regions of Kerala are more prone to rains on Sunday.
