LDF candidate in Irinjalakkuda R Bindu visiting Innocent
Irinjalakkuda (Thrissur): LDF candidate R Bindu started election campaign visiting actor and former MP Innocent and seeking his blessings. The candidate was warmly welcomed by Innocent’s granddaughter Anna with a garland. Innocent shared some memories when Bindu’s father Radhakrishnan was a teacher at National School.
Bindu reached CPM Irinjalakkuda area committee office and visited the residence of former councillor Venugopal, who is her uncle. Following this, she visited the houses of veteran Communist leaders in Muriyad panchayat.
Later, Bindu also visited houses of late P L Ouseph Master, CPI leader K C Gangadharan, veteran Communist leaders P D Paul, Chandran Kombath, Prof Mambuzha Kumaran who is also classmate and friend of Bindu’s father, Kathakali maestro Kalanilayam Raghavan Ashan who is father of Bindu’s friend Jayashree, Prof T J Sivasankaran and children’s author K V Ramanathan.
In the afternoon, Bindu went to Little Flower Convent in Irinjalakkuda and paid tribute to the late sister. The candidate did not forget to visit the residence of her teacher Prof Savithri Lakshmanan and seek her blessings.
