Thrissur: Inebriated youths trespassed into the Agricultural University campus in Mannuthy on Friday night and threatened students by brandishing knives.
As per reports, the youths misbehaved with the girl students while they were on their way to the hostel. Following this, the students reacted against their obscene remarks and the youths started following them.
According to a college student, the security officers at the campus did not intervene in the matter. The students also staged protests against the police inaction over the incident. Apparently, the assailants were taken to the police station and later granted station bail.
