Inebriated TVM man allegedly attacks woman on Air India Express flight, nabbed

Thiruvananthapuram: Police booked a man for allegedly assaulting a woman passenger on board an Air India Express flight. A case has been registered on the complaint of the terminal manager of the airport.

Navaikulam native Ramesh Kurup, the accused, allegedly attacked the woman on the Muscat-Thiruvananthapuram AIE flight at around 6 in the evening. The woman’s husband reportedly hit the man when he continued to harass the woman. Co-passengers intervened to avoid further trouble. The accused was inebriated.

CISF personnel nabbed Ramesh from the flight at the captain's request. The woman has told police that she will not file an official complaint, it is learnt.
