IndiGo told me that I was their esteemed customer, tendered apology: EP Jayarajan

Thrisssur: LDF convener EP Jayarajan declared that authorities of IndiGo Airlines rang up and apologised over the incident over a Congress protest that was staged against the Chief Minister onboard the flight. Jayarajan said that he will clarify his stance only after receiving apologies by document.

“The Airlines authorities requested to cooperate with them,” he said. Jayarajan claimed that the authorities told him that he is their esteemed customer and expressed regret over the incident which led to the LDF convener boycotting travelling through IndiGo airlines. They demanded that the issues be resolved soon, said Jayarajan.

IndiGo had barred CPM central committee member EP Jayarajan from flying with the airline citing his alleged unruly behaviour onboard a flight when two Congress activists attempted to stage a protest against the CM.

Jayarajan opined that the official who called him had behaved well.
