Palakkad: Various Sangh Parivar organisations are gearing up to find out the freedom fighters who were not included in the history of India’s freedom struggle and prepare fresh documents to make them part of the history. The student organisation ABVP has been given the charge of this. They will collect details of those who died in various protests and revolutions and make a list.

The book will be prepared in state and national levels after collecting data from all states including Kerala. For this purpose, they will travel to all villages and seek information from locals and various institutions about the freedom fighters.

Local publications, old books, notices filed in museums and other documents also will be referred as part old data collection. The local level data collection will be managed under the leadership of city and taluk committees of ABVP. They intend to release the book at the national conference of ABVP which is to be held in December.

It is learnt that the new move was initiated as the Sangh Parivar outfits are unhappy over the list of freedom fighters and the historical events including Malabar Rebellion. They claim that history was distorted and names of many freedom fighters were omitted from the historical documents prepared earlier.
