Independence Day 2022: Artists join hands in Idukki to ready 75 ft canvas featuring ‘hues of freedom

Idukki: Artists under Kerala Chitrakala Parishath (KCP) in Idukki have come together and readied a 75 feet canvas featuring ‘hues of freedom’.

The artwork has been readied at IDA ground here as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative.

From class V students to professionals, around 15 artists participated in the ‘Freedom Painting’, organized by District Information Office, District Administration and KCP.

District collector visited the ground to see the paintings.

Public will have an opportunity to see the paintings free of cost.

Special arrangements have been made to manage the crowd.

The artwork will be officially inaugurated by minister and legislator Roshy Augustine after Independence Day parade.
