IMD predicts thundershower; yellow alert issued for 12 districts

Thiruvananthapuram: The Indian Meteorological Department on Wednesday has forecasted isolated thundershowers and strong winds in the state from October 27 to 31. An yellow alert is declared for 12 districts and the forecast suggest the possibility of isolated heavy rains in the state.

IMD has also predicted that wind speed can go upto 40 kmph in isolated areas of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts by Wednesday evening.
