Thiruvananthapuram: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rainfall on Tuesday morning in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, and Kozhikode districts.

Scattered/fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorms/lightning/gusty winds (40-50 kmph) is very likely over the region during the next 4 days.

Meanwhile, a yellow alert has been issued today (May 2, 2023) in Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Idukki, and Thrissur districts.
