IMD predicts rainfall in Kerala for next five days

Thiruvananthapuram: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in the state for the next five days.

A yellow alert has been issued in Idukki, Kozhikode and Wayanad districts on Tuesday (23 May 2023). A yellow alert in Pathanamthitta and Idukki districts on May 26 and 27.

Meanwhile, thunderstorms with light to moderate rainfall & gusty wind speed reaching 40 Kmph are likely at one or two places in Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts in the next three hours.
