Thiruvananthapuram; Indian Meteorological Department warned of heavy rains in differet parts of the state in coming days. As a result, yellow alert was issued in five districts.

May 30: Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki

May 31: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki

June 1: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki

June 2: Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur

June 3: Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur

64.5 mm to 115.5 mm rain is estimated in 24 hours.
