Thiruvananthapuram: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in Kerala for the next five days. Yellow alert has been declared in several districts.

June 11: Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod

June 12: Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod

June 13: Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasaragod

June 14: Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasaragod

June 15: Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasaragod

All those residing near landslide prone areas and on the banks of rivers have been urged to exercise caution. People living in coastal areas, which are prone to sea attacks, have also been warned. IMD warned about strong winds uprooting electric posts and trees.
