Illegal appointment is like cheating public; PSC lashes out at KSRTC
Thiruvananthapuram: Public Service Commission (PSC) has submitted a report in the high court criticising the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). It informed the court that backdoor entry is invalid and illegal appointments are like cheating the public. PSC also said in the report that the action taken by the KSRTC regarding the appointments is not satisfactory.
KSRTC appointed conductors from the PSC list after the empanelled conductors were dismissed. However, vacancies are remaining and the empanelled conductors have approached the court demanding to appoint them in these vacancies. The court had asked a report from the PSC in this regard. The PSC submitted the report following this.
The court was to hear the case filed by the empanelled conductors on Monday. Since the PSC submitted the report, the court has informed that it will hear the case on Tuesday after studying the report. PSC has also submitted the report of the KSRTC regarding the vacancy of reserve conductors and the written examination held based on this and the rank list details.
