Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday slammed Yogi Adityanath’s comment on Kerala. Pinarayi said that if UP becomes Kerala, there will be better education and health care for its people. There will be no killings in the name of religion or caste, he posted on Twitter.

On the day polling day of the first phase of the election in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath 'warned' the voters that UP would become Kerala if they did not vote 'wisely'.

"A lot of amazing things have happened in the past five years. Beware, if you make a mistake, these five years of hard work will be devastated. It will not take long for Uttar Pradesh to become Kashmir, Bengal or Kerala,” Yogi said.
