If Sukumaran Nair had responded earlier, it would have yielded desired result: Vellappally
Cherthala: The response of NSS general secretary Sukumaran Nair that the government should change was late, opined SNDP general secretary Vellappally Natesan. Let his belief for a change in governance come true, Natesan further said after casting vote here.
Rather than voicing his opinion on the day of vote, he should have responded earlier. Then it would have ended in desired results. I am not saying any of my wishes now. The time for that has passed. Now I can only cast vote, and I did it, he added.
The better polling percentage in election indicates a strong triangular fight. We can’t say now whether there will be continuity in governance. Personally I would opine that all three fronts had to pay more attention to deciding the candidates, Vellappally said.
Many have expressed wish to become the chief minister. It can’t be predicted who will become CM. SNDP has not supported anyone. BJP performed well this time but we can't say this will give them more seats, Vellappally added.
