Accused Yadhukrishnan
Thodupuzha: Police nabbed an 18-year-old youth in an alleged sexual assault case in Idukki. Kolani native Yadhukrishnan has been arrested for raping a minor girl, who refused to accept his proposal.
Police informed that the accused had a friendship with a 15-year-old girl for over a year. However, he kidnapped her in a vehicle and raped after she rejected his proposal.
Severe charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act have been imposed against him. He was produced in court and later sent under remand.
