Representative Image-Deceased Valsamma
Kattappana: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Idukki on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as PJ Valsamma, (also known as Animol, 27), a teacher and native of Pezhumkandam in Kanchiyar here.
The woman went missing on March 17. Her husband Vijesh along with family members had lodged a police complaint. The probe was progressing and Vijesh tactically kept the family members away from entering a room in their house, said reports.
The family had suspicion and they visited the house again the other day and found it locked. The woman's brother and father opened the backdoor and searched the rooms. Her body was found under the cot inside a room, packed in a blanket.
Meanwhile, her husband Vijesh is missing. Reports said the couple had family issues. The police suspect murder. Further details are awaited.
