Thiruvananthapuram: War of words ensued between PT Thomas and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan over the gold smuggling case during the Assembly session on Thursday.
PT Thomas raised allegations against the Chief Minister after filing a notice for an adjournment motion. However, the CM responded by calling himself a ‘special genus’ and that he will not become an underworld leader if the opposition curses him to be.
PT Thomas MLA raised allegations against the Chief Minister and his family members regarding the gold smuggling case. The CM responded that Swapna Suresh did not visit his residence on the eve of his daughter’s wedding and that none of his family members were interrogated by the agencies.
