According to reports, accused Laila has confessed to cooking human meat and storing 10 kg of human meat in the freezer. When asked whether they ate the cooked meat, Shafi smiled in response.

Elanthoor: The police and forensic officials conducted a detailed investigation at the house of second accused Bhagaval Singh at Elanthoor in connection with the human sacrifice case. Crime weapons, including four kitchen knives, were recovered from the area.

According to reports, accused Laila has confessed to cooking human flesh and storing 10 kg of human meat in the freezer. However, there is no official clarification on this.

On being asked about the blood stain inside the fridge, Laila reportedly said that it came from cooking human meat. She also pointed out at the crockery used for cooking. When asked whether they ate the cooked meat, Shafi smiled in response.

As per Laila’s statement, Bhagaval Singh had refused to eat the meat. Although it was stuffed into his mouth, he spitted it out. The police have also recovered a wooden log used for cutting the bodies from the area.

Meanwhile, locals and Congress activists staged protests as the police brought the accused to Elanthoor. The DYFI also conducted a protest meeting at Elanthoor market junction.
