Human rights violated in Sabarimala: Sreedharan Pillai
Pathanamthitta: BJP state president Sreedharan Pillai alleged that by deploying police at Sabarimala, the state government has done the largest human right violation of the country. The pilgrims were denied rooms, drinking water, freedom of mobility and a peaceful darshan of Lord Ayyappa.
BJP has filed complaint regarding the human rights violation to the National Human Rights Commission. And a complaint has been given to governor regarding this.
The state government is acting to eliminate the customs and religious faith. It was a resolution of CPM party congress at Coimbatore not to follow or organise religious customs and rituals, which the party workers in Kerala failed to follow. It is suspected that they act in Sabarimala as part of that, said Sreedharan Pillai.
