How to get Covid Vaccination Certificate before travelling abroad?
Thiruvananthapuram: The health department has given clarifications on doubts regarding the vaccination certificate for people who are going abroad and the second dose of vaccine on priority basis.
The department had issued guidelines for vaccinating those who travel abroad for education and employment purposes. They will be provided Covishield vaccine and those who received the first dose of vaccine will be given the second dose within 4-6 weeks.
Those aged above 18 years who received both doses of Covid vaccine and need to include their passport number in the vaccination certificate are eligible for the Covid vaccination certificate issued by the state government.
Some countries recommend that the certificate should specify the brand name Oxford AstraZeneca instead of the name Covishield. People who are travelling to such countries also can apply for the vaccine certificate.
