Hoping to enter LDF before LSG polls, says Jose K. Mani after meeting Kodiyeri Balakrishnan
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Congress leader Jose K. Mani hoped that a decision regarding his party entering the LDF will be taken before the Local Self Government elections.
Jose K. Mani was addressing the media after a meeting with CPI (M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan at AKG centre. It is learned that the two leaders discussed political matters.
On Friday morning, Jose K. Mani held a meeting with CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran at M. N. Memorial. Following this, Jose came to AKG centre to meet Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. Jose visited the two Left leaders at a time when both the CPI (M) and CPI were set to hold talks regarding Kerala Congress joining LDF. Jose K. Mani was travelling in a car provided by the AKG centre.
Jose K. Mani stated that CPI has clarified its stance regarding Kerala Congress joining LDF. But he refused to divulge any details. He stated that future actions will be decided after discussions with LDF. Jose K. Mani added that he would visit Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan soon.
Jose K. Mani received a warm welcome at AKG centre on his maiden visit after announcing that Kerala Congress will join LDF. After the meeting, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and LDF convenor A. Vijayaraghavan came out of the AKG centre to send off Jose K. Mani.
