Thiruvananthapuram: Holiday was declared for all educational institutions, including anganwadis, kindergartens, central schools, CBSE and ICSE schools and professional colleges in Kasaragod and Kannur districts on Friday.
Holiday was granted in view of the India Meteorological Department’s forecast of heavy rains in the coming 4 days. A yellow alert has been declared in Kasaragod district. The collector informed that the educational institutions have to find arrangements to compensate for the number of working days lost. There will be no change in the scheduled examinations and interviews in the district.
