Kozhikode: As the crescent moon was not spotted in Kerala on Friday, Ramadan will be observed on Sunday after completing Sha'ban 30, said Kerala Hilal Committee Chairman M Muhammed Madani.
Qasis including President of Samastha Kerala Jem'iyyathul Ulema Sayyid Muhammad Jifri Muthukkoya Thangal, Syed Sadiqali Shihab Thangal, Syed Mohammad Koya Thangal Jamalullaili, Syed Nasar Abdul Hayy Shihab Thangal Panakkad, Samastha General Secretary Prof. K. Alikutty Musliar informed the public that whoever witnesses the crescent moon on Saturday should inform them.
