The court was considering the petitions regarding handing over the regulation of virtual queue to the Devaswom. The court made it clear that the order on who should control the virtual queue website will be issued on November 17.
The government informed that spot booking facility will be arranged at Nilakkal, Erumeli and Kumily. Booking will commence from November 16. Upto 30,000 pilgrims will be allowed per day.
Travancore Devaswom lawyer Adv G Biju and others demanded that spot booking facility should be available in more places including railway stations and airports.
The pilgrims can use their Aadhaar card, voter's ID and passport for booking. The software will be updated so that passport can be used for virtual queue booking, the government informed.
