Thiruvananthapuram: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain in North Kerala on Thursday. Orange alert has been issued in Kannur and Kasaragod districts. Yellow alert is in place at Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad districts
Heavy rain may continue for four more days as a cyclonic formation is seen in the Bay of Bengal. It is likely to turn into low pressure by Thursday.
