Health workers talking with the man who violated quarantine
Pathanamthitta: A man who violated quarantine and wandered in the town was caught by the health workers in an adventurous move here. The person had arrived from Saudi Arabia and left the house breaking quarantine after quarreling with his wife and other family members.
The Oonnukal native man landed from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia three days ago. The police officers found him riding a two wheeler without wearing a mask during a vehicle check in the town. When inquired, the man said that he came from abroad and was in quarantine.
The police officers collected the phone number of his family and confirmed if he was telling the truth. When the officers asked him to go to the hospital, he refused to obey them. Following this, the police informed health workers.
However, the man did not go with the health workers either and tried to run away from them. Following this, the health workers overpowered him and tied his arms and legs before taking him away in the ambulance.
