Kochi: Health and Food inspectors seized around 50 kg of stale chicken from an eatery in Muvattupuzha. The meat was seized from the Chicking outlet functioning in Grand Central Mall.
Health inspector Ashraf said that the employees lacked health cards, and the grill used in the kitchen for frying chicken was unclean. Meanwhile, weeks old beef, chicken, fruits, fish, fresh cream, Kuboos and other items were seized from another eatery named Buns and Beans near Latha bus stand on Thodupuzha-Muvattupuzha road.
The authorities said that food inspections would continue with the aim to safeguard the health of the public.
