Kerala to ensure treatment through Green Channel for students returning from Ukraine

Thiruvananthapuram: Health minister Veena George declared that treatment will be ensured through Green Channel for the students who reach the state from Ukraine.

A special team will be deployed to address the physical and mental troubles faced by the students who reach their homeland escaping war. If necessary, the expert treatments will be rolled out through medical colleges and major government hospitals, she said.

The health department will ensure facilities in the four international airports to observe the health conditions of the students from Ukraine. Health desks are being set up for this where the students can avail the service of expert doctors. Further medication will be assured for those who need it, said Veena.
