Kottayam: Arrest of Kerala Janapaksham (secular) leader PC George over a sexual assault case has rocked Kerala on Saturday. Reacting to his arrest, PC George’s family raised a sharp criticism against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. George’s wife Usha, son Shaun and daughter-in-law Parvathy alleged that Pinarayi Vijayan fabricated a fake case against George.
“I was not shocked about the arrest. CPM is already under scanner over the AKG centre attack case. The assembly session is also going on. The CM and his daughter have been facing many allegations. So, there is nothing to get shocked about the arrest. We knew that something will happen soon. If police arrest all the people named by the woman over the sexual assault case, the Kerala assembly will not have any members to meet the quorum,” said PC George’s son.
Meanwhile, PC George’s wife Usha alleged that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan conspired against her husband.
“ This is injustice. I will visit Pinarayi Vijayan. I want to shoot him down. My father’s revolver is here. Everyone is worried. My prayers will make Pinarayi Vijayan to pay for this within a week. How did he jail an innocent man?,” Usha lashed out.
PC George’s daughter-in-law Parvathy Shaun stated that if Pinarayi Vijayan is behind the case, such an act is not expected from a Chief Minister.
“ If someone who speaks truth face such a situation, how did the ordinary people live here?. This is a fabricated case,” she added.
