The central government and the BJP supported them. UDF pointed out this deal during the election. Then the state government started convincing the public that nothing happened, Chennithala alleged.

Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala said that the high court put an end to the government’s attempt to sabotage the investigations during the election time. He also demanded that the judicial probe announced by the government against the central agencies should be withdrawn as the high court quashed the cases filed against the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

In fact, the central agencies and the state agencies are playing hide and seek in order to fool the public as part of the pact between CPM and BJP. The state government wanted to stop all probes. The central government and the BJP supported them. UDF pointed out this deal during the election. Then the state government started convincing the public that nothing happened, Chennithala alleged.

The case against ED was a stunt to fool the public. The government was aware that they cannot charge case against the ED as per CrPC. But they still tried to cheat the people during the election time. No such gimmick will work and this will be clear after the election results are out, Chennithala said.
