Arrested H Arun Das
Kazhakkoottam: 17 grams of MDMA and 27 grams of hashish oil were seized from H Arun Das, a native of Kazhakoottam. Based on the information received from the arrested person in Kozhikode, the excise conducted raid and found deadly drugs were kept for sale.
The drugs were smuggled in a parcel brought from the Netherlands and this smuggling is going on more than once a month for the last eight months. The drugs are then sold at Technopark and various flats nearby. Ansil, another member of the group, saw the excise team and fled the place.
Kazhakoottam excise Inspector A Mohammad Rafi said an investigation has been launched to find those involved in drug trafficking and sale.
