Kochi: Harrisons Malayalam Limited (HML) has been conferred with the ‘National Award for Outstanding Industrial Relations’ for the year 2020-21 by All India Organization of Employers (AIOE), an allied body of FICCI, for its excellence in Industrial Relations.
Arti Ahuja IAS, Secretary Labour and Employment, Government of India presented the award to HML at the Annual General Meeting of AIOE held on December 27 in Federation House, Delhi.
The award is given to the companies, who have given innovative approaches to foster harmonious industrial relations through bipartite mechanism, reducing conflicts, loss of mandays, promoting employers’ welfare and development avenues, contributing to higher motivation, moral and productivity improvement.
As part of the competition, HML competed with 10 organisations in the Southern Region and was shortlisted for the final presentation.
The award recognizes organisations across the country that have outstanding industrial relations.
