Malappuram: The controversy over the Haritha and MSF that put the Muslim League on the defensive has been settled. The Haritha leaders had lodged a complaint against MSF leaders as they made some misogynist remarks. The MSF leaders involved in the incident will be removed from the post. Haritha leaders will withdraw the complaint lodged with the Women’s Commisson.

MSF State president P K Navas, Malappuram district secretary V Abdul Wahab and district president Kabeer will be removed from their respective posts following the complaint.

The decision was taken after Muslim League held a meeting with both parties involved in the issue. It is also reported that the Muslim league had assured the women leaders that the three accused leaders will apologize for the mistakes made.

The Haritha leaders were directed to withdraw the complaint within two weeks. However, no decision has been taken regarding the Muslim League's decision to freeze the Haritha State Committee.
