Hajj 2023: 1170 applicants in waiting list to get chance

Kondotty: The applicants of hajj 2023, who are currently remaining in the waiting list will get the opportunity to pursue the pilgrimage as many selected applicants cancelled their slots. As many as 1170 persons in the waiting list from Kerala are requested to submit their documents and fee via Kerala State Haj Committee within May 17.

A total of 8553 applicants cancelled their booking and these seats were redistributed among 15 states in the country. Maharashtra received 2304 seats, while Jammu Kashmir and Gujarat got 1083 and 1241 seats, respectively.

The applicants who were selected from the waiting list have to pay the full amount via bank and submit documents, including passport on or before May 17 at the state haj committee.
