Thiruvananthapuram: LDF has rolled out flyers detailing the need to oppose policies of Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and safeguard the education sector of the state. The flyer also mentions every measure taken by the LDF government to bolster the education sector in Kerala. These flyers are prepared ahead of LDF's Raj Bhavan march on November 15.
It is alleged that the Governor is trying to implement the "Sangh Parivar agenda in the educational sector." Further, the pamphlet states that Khan has turned against minister KN Balagopal after the move against VCs didn't turn fruitful. Governor doesn't have a basic understanding of how the constitution works, it read.
"Union Government is intervening in state matters that hinder the development in Kerala. Using Chancellors, they are trying to destroy the higher education sector in Kerala. Therefore, there is need to defend against the Chancellor's action to save the state's future."
